The fine print

Policies

Clear rules make relaxed parents. Here is everything in plain language — if anything is unclear, ask us.

Refunds & cancellations

  • Full refund for cancellations made 7 or more days before the camp date.
  • Inside 7 days, we offer full credit toward a future camp instead of a refund.
  • No refund or credit for no-shows.
  • If we cancel a camp for any reason (weather, venue, enrollment), you choose: a full refund or credit toward any future date.

Liability waiver

  • A parent or legal guardian must accept our liability waiver during registration for each student innovator.
  • The waiver covers ordinary activity risks of a supervised, hands-on building program. It does not waive our responsibility to run a safe, properly supervised camp — every session runs with a 16:2 student-to-staff ratio and Level 2 background screened staff.
  • The full waiver text is presented at checkout and emailed with your confirmation.

Photo release

  • During registration you choose whether we may photograph your student innovator. It is optional and unchecked by default.
  • If you opt in, photos may appear on our website and social channels — first names only, never full names, school names, or any other identifying details.
  • You can withdraw permission at any time by emailing us; we will remove the images.

Allergy & snack policy

  • We collect allergy information for every student innovator at registration and check it against the snack list before every camp.
  • Snacks are nut-aware. If any registered student has a severe allergy, we adjust the snack list for that session.
  • If your child carries an EpiPen or inhaler, hand it to the lead teacher at sign-in and it stays within reach for the full session.

Sick-child policy

  • Please keep your student innovator home with fever, vomiting, or anything contagious in the past 24 hours.
  • Tell us before camp starts and we'll move the registration to a future date at no charge — being sick should never cost you the fee.
  • If a child becomes unwell during camp, we call you right away and keep them comfortable with a staff member until pickup.

Pickup security

  • Sign-in at drop-off, sign-out at pickup, every session.
  • We release students only to the authorized pickup names listed at registration, with photo ID for anyone our team hasn't met before.
  • Need to add a pickup name on camp day? Call or text us from the phone number on the registration — we confirm before release.
