Good questions

Frequently asked questions

What ages do you take?+

Student innovators in grades 2–6 (roughly ages 7–12). Teams are built so younger and older students both have a real role.

What if my kid has never coded?+

Perfect. Every camp starts from zero and scales up. The block-coding tools we use are made for beginners, teams mix experience levels on purpose, and the lead teacher meets every student innovator where they are.

How do drop-off and pickup work?+

Drop-off opens 15 minutes before camp starts, with sign-in at the door. At pickup we release students only to the authorized pickup names you list at registration, with sign-out. You'll get exact door and parking details in your confirmation email.

What should they bring or wear?+

Closed-toe shoes and clothes that can meet glue. We provide everything else: materials, tools, snacks, and a take-home goodie.

What about snacks and allergies?+

We serve allergy-aware snacks and collect allergy information at registration. Anything flagged is checked against the snack list before every camp. If your child has a severe allergy, note it on the form and we'll follow up directly.

What's the refund policy?+

Full refund up to 7 days before camp. Inside 7 days, we offer credit toward a future camp. No refund for no-shows. Full details on our policies page.

Can siblings attend together?+

Yes — register each student innovator separately and note in the form that they're siblings. If they're both in grades 2–6, we can usually place them in the same session, and on the same team if you'd like.

Do they take the robot home?+

No — the robotics kits are professional-grade and reusable; that's how we keep it $59. They do take home their design sketches and their take-home goodie, and take-home kits are available as an add-on if they want to keep building.

Is staff background checked?+

Yes. Every adult on our team is Level 2 background screened, and we're fully insured. Our rule: if they can't work at a school, they can't work with us.

Can I stay and watch?+

The showcase in the last 30 minutes is for you — presentations, head-to-head runs, and plenty of photo opportunities. During the build itself, student innovators work more boldly without an audience.
